:D finally had time to watch my 'le fabuleux destin d'amelie poulain' vcd. THREE THUMBS UP! its so pleasantly quirky. like jeux d'enfants, it's full of unreal scenes, but somehow not too chimerical haha its not wild like the 'adam and eve' scene in jeux d'enfants, the scenes in amelie could actually happen in real life, just highly unlikely :P really adorable. i likee i like!

went for nus openhouse today with ada and met her church friend kailin (: haha pretty informative i guess, but i've yet to read alla the brochures we've koped from the various faculties (brochure-whores ;)) ooh ohhh they had like live band performances, by their students i think, and they had tons of stalls there selling like handmade jewelery and stuffs. me n ada bought shirts from the shirt booth! haha i have a dark grey 'tickle me elmo' shirt :D ada splurged on three shirts la tsktsk. and their 'free size' is like... what, XS-ish? crazyyyy haha
then we wanted to go eat subway so we ended up walking to yusof ishak house, only to decide we'd rather just get out of there, so we did haha had HUGE lunches at tiong macs. thanks to the voucher which entitles us to an extra dessert with our EVMs.
smart me forgot i was gonna have free popcorn and drink later on, while watching spiderwick chronicles with the kiddos. i'm full to the brim now btw, and i'm having dinner in like 15mins. -pats tummy- THATS how you lose your abs. balls.
i think i've really really really outgrown the 'nickelodeon kid movie' phase. i found spiderwick chronicles too whatever haha i DID love stardust though, so its not that i was turned off by the sci-fi factor.

whooohooo i love how i'm totally not using my holidays to catch up with my studies but my friends. bully be to school.
today was furby + md quality time :D spent the whole day at md's crib. we watched scary flicks haha! we finished 'hannibal rising' (gaspard is a doll.) watched 'the omen' (omg seamus is sooooo adorable in the making-of clip hehe) and 'vacancy' (kinda stupid-ish but does have its scary moments. kate beckinsale made it worth watching too (:) goodness snuff films are so freaky la k. vacancy dvd had like deleted scenes, and extended snuff films from the clips they showed during the course of the show. goshhh they look damn real. scary shit. i cant imagine people actually going through the trouble to kill and torture victims, then clean up the whole place to repeat the same things again. crazy sadists.
omg todays weather was terrible again! we wanted to order in for lunch but macs said due to weather condition and the safety of their riders they couldnt deliver to freaking mei ling street but like helloooo queensway shopping centre is 5 mins away and they now deliver from there unlike 3 years ago, SO WHAT THE BULL. and kfc said it'd take abt 1 and a half hours to deliver, geez. so we ended up having instant noodles, always best. damn campbell soup would've been awesome for a stay-in rainy day.
aww some poor people are stuck in malaysia haha! 2D1N in genting but today due to fog, the theme park is closed. how terrible!! hope you had fun shopping though (:

wow today's rain was crazy heavy. like... 2inches-flood-at-orchard heavy. insaneee.
haha omg due to certain events that happened today post-12pm and pre-1pm, i don't think i'll ever be welcomed at paragon's watsons. EVER. eeeks.

LIKE WOW I KNOW I'M SO SLOW BUT I JUST PLAYED GUITAR HERO FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AND IT WAS SOOO FUN HAHA. i am born pro la please. can complete on first try ok. tried easy and medium haha. played some 'rage against the machine' song and afi's 'miss murder'. totally owned oliver in both \m/ even though he scored higher than me in the latter, i ended up getting higher % notes played than him, i have no idea how. fun fun (: haha so cheapskate we went to the sony store in paragon and played lol. they actually had a sign that limits each customer to try it for TEN MINS. hahaha
watched 'the eye' too. totally like the original la. but watched it just cos jessica alba's acting heh.
-snickers- you can really find the quirkiest people walking around orchard road. shing shing :P and near peninsula/funan too, or at least there was yesterday :P queenies in pink and donning scarves, bleagh.
i never knew the back of 196's top deck was used as a changing room by some people, tsktsk (:

OH OH and today on the way back from dhoby ghaut mrt while taking the purple line, something odd happened. a stop before outram park, an mrt guy (the ones walking up and down the cabins in green) was walking through the cabins shouting 'all those alighting at outram park please proceed to the front half of the train! back doors all WON'T be opened at that stoppp!' then when we reached the station, the glass panels where the doors didnt open were all covered in brown paper, to block the train passengers view to what was going on at the stop. then some guy in the train asked mr green mrt man what happened then he was like 'ohhh shooting i think, bang bang -complete with actions-' damn scaryyyyy, i wonder who got shot o.o will probably be in the papers tmr or smth HAHA. freak.

went down to ccab to watch the isaac finals between ac n tp (coincidentally, we managed to catch the last bit of uwc n sss's 3rd 4th placing match tooo - I SAW MY PRETTY UWC C-CUM-WA, sosososoos pretty.) fun to watch! haha cos they're all so pro and awesome. AND NAT LONG GOT INTO AC CONGRATS :D haha qian says her hands like magnet, can suck the ball even though she's double guarded and for every rebound too, soso true! celeste n jiazhi are like whoa too la. so cool seeing them play since primary school. like wow 8 years? that kinda experience is priceless.
